IMPORT DUTIES AND TARIFFS
You understand that when you purchase from us you are IMPORTING goods from Japan, and as such, certain IMPORT DUTIES OR TARIFFS MAY BE CHARGED by your local customs agency. The amount charged will depend on the total price and type of products in your order which we shall truthfully declare in invoices that accompany all packages. Since the rate of duty differs from country to country, it is client's responsibility to find out if and how much duty she/he will be required to pay. This information is usually freely available on customs agency websites.
Import duties and tariffs are not included in the price of your product.
PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED GOODS
To the best of our knowledge we will discontinue the sale of products to countries where they can not be legally imported or sold. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to make sure that the goods you buy can be legally imported to your country. We will not take responsibility for, nor refund goods that have been stopped at customs.
ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT
If you find that items have been lost, you should notify us immediately so that we may file a complaint with the courier in charge of delivery for appropriate action or compensation. Once the delivery agency formally confirms the loss, we will proceed to give you a refund or arrange to have a new product shipped depending on your choice and product availability at that time.
ITEMS DAMAGED UPON DELIVERY
We make every effort to inspect all products before they are shipped. However, if you find that your product is damaged upon delivery you should;
* Immediately take a digital photograph clearly showing the damage.
* Save all packing materials for later return.
* Call the responsible carrier or take your damaged item to your local post office and file a "Damage Report" or the equivalent in your country. If your claim is accepted, the cost of damage will be paid for by Japan Post to prevent any unnecessary resistance.
* Contact us immediately together with the digital image of the damage for additional instructions. (Do not send the product(s) back unless instructed by us to do so)
Please note that only damages to product(s) sent via EMS is eligible for compensation.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
The client must fully understand that the order cannot be processed without making the full-payment for the order, when the full-payment has been received from the client we will proceed with processing and preparing the order within specified time. At this point in time the order cannot be canceled. In summary no order can be canceled when the full amount has been received.
As a rule we do not accept cancellations if the order has progressed to the "Processed(Preparing for Shipment)" stage. If you still wish to cancel your order due to some extraneous reasons beyond your control, you may contact us to check if we can accept a cancellation. We will be the sole judge of what situations constitute a "extraneous reason beyond your control". (For example, not wanting to pay import duties does not constitute an extraneous reason. ). Please be aware that we will reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 15% or higher.
UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS AND RETURNED PACKAGES
Packages are sometimes returned to us because the address was incorrect or because the recipient did not claim the package.
In these cases, please understand that we can neither refund the price of the purchased product nor the shipping cost unless the fault of misdelivery lies with us. If there is a compelling reason why the shipment was unclaimed we will be happy to resend the package if you agree to pay for the additional cost of delivery within one month after our receipt of the package. We will not hold packages beyond this one-month period.
You MAY NOT 1)reject, 2) deliberately choose not to claim, or 3) refuse to pay import duties (in the event such is applied) for a package that has already been shipped. These do not constitute a compelling reason for a package not being claimed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to blacklist any customer who refuses a package with what we perceive to be malicious intent. Furthermore, Blacklisted customers will not be able to purchase or deal with us or with any of our affiliates and subsidiaries. We may disclose blacklisted customer information to third parties in the interest of preventing repeat offenses and further damage. Such third parties may include, but is not limited to, other online shops, blacklist sites, watchdog organizations and local or international police authorities.
